My research concerns scalable methods for semidefinite programming, structured matrix optimisation, and self-concordant barriers.
Current directions
- Structured semidefinite optimisation. Exploiting matrix structure in large positive semidefinite constraints.
- Self-concordant barriers. Proving and analysing self-concordance of low barrier parameter barriers for structured cones.
- Numerical methods. Developing custom numerical solvers geared towards large-scale, practical problems.
